Fertility Mini Series

For our 201st podcast episode, I discussed my recent egg freezing experience and journey. I covered everything from beginning to end, all the way from the initial consultation to my egg retrieval and the results. I even included the price breakdown to be completely transparent with you all.

Because of this, I thought I would gather episodes surrounding fertility so that they would be all in one place. So if you’re curious to learn more, here are other past episodes about fertility and the journey to having kids!

  1. My Egg Freezing Experience

Even though this process was not easy and did not end in the way that I ultimately would have wanted it to, I still wanted to share this with all of you because I believe it is important to discuss. As women, we are not taught enough about fertility and our own bodies; it is time that we are more open about this and have honest conversations about having kids, in whatever way that looks like.

2. Want Kids One Day? A Conversation with Afton Vechery of Modern Fertility

Afton Vechery is the founder and CEO of Modern Fertility. If you’re thinking “I’m not trying to have kids yet,” “I’m focusing on my career right now,” or “I don’t even know if I want to have kids,” you should still care about your reproductive health! And Afton is here to help break it down for you!

3. Egg Freezing 101

This time around, I’m chatting with fertility physician Dr. Natalie Crawford from Aspire Fertility all about egg freezing. She is also the host of As A Woman Podcast, which is all about fertility, female empowerment, and leadership. She is my personal fertility doctor, so this is a good episode to listen to. If you don’t know anything about egg freezing and are curious what the process is or are looking into it yourself, this episode is for you!

4. 10 Years of Infertility Led to This Moment

In this episode, I chat with my friend Faith Ramos about her journey of 10 years of infertility and IVF, which gave her two children. She was not even aware of fertility issues until Faith was 30 and trying to have kids with her husband. She talks about how having kids may not be in the way that you thought, but that God is good anyway. If you are struggling with this or just want to hear her story, listen to this episode now!

I really hope you enjoyed this fertility series on the podcast, and I hope that you learned at least one thing about women’s’ fertility. If you’re interested in Modern Fertility, check out this link for more information and a discount for listeners: https://modernfertility.com/refined/

If The Refined Collective Podcast has impacted your story, encouraged, and empowered you in any way and at any point I’d be so touched if you’d share our podcast with your world! Whether on Instagram, Facebook, IG Stories, or sending a text or email sharing an episode that you love with a friend or loved one…I’d be tickled pink. You know why? Because it is my vision to empower women to embrace their beauty, identity and value—and if that can happen through one woman listening to my podcast and leaving encouraged, then I’ve done my job!

XO,

Kat
