A Closed Door Leads to a Greater Yes
LISTEN NOW: ITUNES // SPOTIFY // STITCHER
This is my final podcast episode of 2022! I can’t believe it! If you want to hear more about my decision to take a 4-month sabbatical from all things The Refined Woman, content creation, and social media, check out this episode.
I’ve thought a lot about what I want to share with you in this episode, and what came to mind were 3 things that I’ve been learning in life, growing through, and healing from.
1. Closed Doors Lead to a Greater Yes
2. Vulnerability is Your Medicine–Michelle Peterson
Some people are in your life to be your forever, some people are in your life for a season + some people are in your life to propel towards greater growth + transformation than you thought possible.
3. God Sent Me a Reminder of Who I Used to Be to Propel Me Into Who I’m Becoming
Jesus put others before him, he was humble, wasn’t defensive, had healthy boundaries, always ALWAYS took a stand for the vulnerable + the oppressed, flipped tables at religious + spiritual abuse, abuse of power + ego—and made his presence + friendship a safe space to ALL esp, those who would never feel safe or welcomed in culture at large + religious institutions. I want to be like THAT.
